The Wave is Not the Water Too

This work makes sound visible through the interplay of vibration, light and colour. Foil materials and dichroic films respond to live sound, transforming vibrations into shifting reflections and luminous patterns. Sound and light recordings were translated into a light installation and moving image work. 

Images captured from the installation were selected for display on digital billboards in prominent locations across Glasgow as part of Art of the Outdoor®, an open-air gallery collaboration between The Glasgow School of Art and Ocean Outdoor UK.
